About the Role

PBT Group is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines using SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data pipelines with SQL, SSAS, and SSIS to ensure seamless data flow for key business decisions.
  • Translate data requirements into efficient technical solutions, optimizing data processes for scalability and reliability.
  • Create insightful visualizations using Power BI to enhance business decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity at all processing stages, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data architecture and best practices.
  • Design and develop standardized reports using SSRS, T-SQL queries, and Stored Procedures.
  • Conduct ETL and ELT from diverse data sources, creating and maintaining data warehouses/marts.
  • Analyze data to enhance processes and define key metrics, providing technical support post-deployment.
About You

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Microsoft Data Analyst/Developer who is passionate about data analysis and has a strong background in Microsoft BI tools. If you have a solid understanding of data warehouse design patterns and experience with a major cloud provider, you will be a great fit for our team.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft BI: SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI.
  • Dimensional Modelling expertise.
  • Strong system analysis and design skills.
  • Power BI proficiency for data visualization.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse design patterns.
  • Experience with a major cloud provider (Azure, Google, AWS) is advantageous.
  • Python or R experience is a plus.
