Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Trade Accountant to join our team for a 6-month period. The successful candidate will assist in the processing and reconciliation of trade accounts.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working with financial software.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure timely invoice verification and payment processing.
  2. Calculate and resolve differences on invoices.
  3. Post transactions to relevant accounts.
  4. Prepare and send cash flow reports to stakeholders.
  5. Coordinate with the Treasurer to manage payment amounts.
  6. Process offshore and non-Mittal purchases.
  7. Reconcile creditors' accounts.
  8. Manage payment runs and down payments.
  9. Handle bank charges and vendor claims.
  10. Update accrual and age analysis accounts.
  11. Support auditors and serve as a backup for the trade accountant.
  12. Address ad-hoc queries.
