Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Country Manager to lead our commercial function and drive sales growth in our target markets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong understanding of the payments and fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and drive commercial growth
- Monitor and negotiate COPS rates for in-country banks, APMs, and acquirers
- Provide strategic and competitive pricing guidance within commercial frameworks
- Manage merchant portfolio, develop, and upsell
- Lead the local commercial function to generate a robust sales pipeline
- Collaborate with global and regional sales units to onboard global and enterprise-level merchants
- Analyze and enhance sales efficiency and productivity
- Develop and refine customer satisfaction strategies
- Motivate and nurture the local sales team for optimal performance
- 7+ years of sales experience, ideally in a similar B2B environment
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams, ideally as a country or side lead
- 5+ years of experience in payments, banking, or financial domain
- eCommerce payments/eCommerce payment processing experience
- MBA or Master's degree in management, finance, or similar field
- Experience in partnership lead and account management
- Experience in working within a global, cross-functional organization
- Experience in budget management, forecasting, pricing, account profitability review
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with all internal and external teams, including sales, business development, marketing, and product management
- Ability to drive decisions, take action, and roll up your sleeves and dive into the work
- Superb articulation, communication, and overall leadership capabilities
