Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure funding from various sources, including corporate sponsors, foundations, and individual donors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and community leaders.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including researching and writing grant proposals.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, including donor interactions and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our organization and its fundraising efforts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven track record of securing funding from various sources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and regulations, including the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or non-profit management.
  • South African Fundraising Institute certification.
  • Experience in grant writing and research.
