About the Role

TalentCru is seeking a visionary Strategic Business Leader to drive the overall strategic, operational, and financial performance of our agency. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's strategic plan to achieve business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve business goals and objectives.
    • Identify market opportunities and drive the company's growth and expansion strategies.
    • Provide visionary leadership and direction to all departments within the agency.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
    • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
    • Monitor financial performance, analyzing key metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Report financial and operational performance to the CEO or Board of Directors.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients and resolve high-level issues.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing management team.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
    • Implement talent development programs to ensure the continuous growth and development of employees.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis:
    • Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
    • Adjust strategies and operations to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Identify new service offerings and market segments for growth.
  • Business Development:
    • Drive business development initiatives to attract new clients and expand market share.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in sales and/or client support, with experience managing a temporary/contingent recruitment business being advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years' leadership experience with demonstrated success building and leading support and client relationship management teams.
  • Experience and an existing network in Africa would be advantageous.
  • Track record of growing a similar type business in the South Africa or African market.
  • Strong existing network within the temporary/contingent industry would be advantageous.
  • Bachelor's Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce, and Management Studies.
