  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, open communication, and collaboration across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead, develop and manage the Commercial Operations function across different teams and various locations in South Africa.
  2. Ensure smooth functioning and collaboration across all areas of sales operations, marketing, and finance, optimising them to service the business for growth.
  3. Partner with senior sales leadership to drive sales growth and performance and act as a strategic advisor.
  4. Analyse sales and financial data as well as other market data to identify opportunities.
  5. Oversee the design and implementation of commercial opportunities to strengthen our market position and improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of the sales cycles.
  6. Evaluate and monitor competitor activities and our overall market position, providing continual feedback to the management team on opportunities and threats.
  7. Evaluate and implement technologies such as automation tools and analytics platforms to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  8. Work cross-functionally to deliver key strategic projects.
  9. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the business.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success, with senior-level experience in Sales and Commercial Operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive business growth through innovative solutions.
