Talent Sam is an ecommerce retailer founded in 2013 selling 500 sun protection products across 30 brands, mainly to a UK customer base. They have a £350k+ annual revenue plus a small team based in Worthing, UK currently alongside two purpose-driven founders with 20+ years of experience running retail businesses.

Their vision is to become the UK ecommerce authority on sun protection and skincare and enhance product transparency and customer decision making in this sector. They believe this will reduce customer stress, enable more confidence and enjoyment in the sun, as well as enhance customer life expectancy by mitigating the dangers of the sun.

Position Overview

We are seeking a data-driven Ecommerce Performance Executive to oversee and optimize the analytical and performance aspects of our sun and skin care focused eCommerce site. This role will be responsible for driving the site's performance, handling promotions, managing CRM and customer attribution, as well as monitoring site KPIs. The ideal candidate is results-oriented with a strong analytical background, capable of using insights to drive eCommerce growth and elevate customer experiences through data-backed decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
  • Online Sales Growth: Analyse eCommerce trading performance and identify opportunities to drive online sales.
  • Promotion Strategy: Oversee and optimise promotional strategies to ensure efficient stock and margin management.
  • Performance Marketing: Manage and optimise paid channels to meet sales and acquisition goals.
  • Key Metric Tracking: Monitor and report on key site metrics to improve site performance.
  • A/B Testing & Site Enhancement: Conduct A/B tests to enhance conversion rates, SEO, and user experience.
  • Customer Journey Analysis: Analyse customer journey and attribution data to refine targeting and engagement.
  • CRM Management: Enhance customer retention and drive lifetime value through effective CRM systems.
  • eCommerce Development: Manage development agency to deliver Shopify brand refresh, ensuring project meets desired outcomes, time, and budget.
  • App Integration Management: Ensure seamless ecosystem of apps and integrations to enhance customer experience.
  • Analytics Oversight: Track and analyse performance metrics to guide data-driven decisions.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide detailed performance reports, including key metrics and sales trends.
  • Budget Optimisation: Plan, manage, and optimise the eCommerce budget to maximise ROI.
  • Customer Feedback Analysis: Gather and analyse customer feedback to inform product assortment and content strategy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure cohesive ecommerce strategies and execution.
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled Ecommerce Performance Optimization Specialist with:

  • eCommerce Growth Experience: 2+ years of proven track record in driving revenue and growth for an ecommerce business.
  • Data-Driven Background: Strong analytical skills in ecommerce analytics platforms.
  • Performance Marketing Expertise: Hands-on experience with paid channels, PPC, and performance marketing strategies.
  • Shopify Platform Knowledge: Proficient with the Shopify ecommerce platform.
  • CRM Experience: Hands-on experience with CRM systems for customer retention and segmentation.
  • KPI Tracking Skills: Skilled in monitoring eCommerce KPIs and making data-driven decisions.
  • Testing Proficiency: Experience with A/B testing tools and methodologies.
  • Customer Insights Ability: Ability to analyse and act on customer attribution and journey data.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Hands-on experience with PPC, SEO, email, and affiliate marketing.
  • UX/UI Understanding: Experience with UX/UI best practices and testing tools.
  • Budget Management: Track record of effectively managing budgets to meet business goals.
Competitive Salary Package

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
