Job Title: Head of Business Development

Hire Resolve's client in the Renewable Energy Industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Development to join their team in Gauteng or the Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business development efforts within the renewable energy industry, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement demand creation strategies to improve revenue and meet market demands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry players.
  • Develop business agreements with clients and negotiate contracts.
  • Conduct financial modeling of new opportunities and drive cost-benefit analysis.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies to improve business portfolio and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to adapt current portfolios to new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand future impacts on product offerings and production.
  • Establish business development strategies to ensure the overall organizational strategy is followed.
  • Lead the development of business intelligence frameworks to improve data analytics and market assessments.
  • Lead local or regional team discussions to confirm decisions on business development.
Requirements:
  • A minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or finance.
  • Project Management Experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated sales and business development ability.
  • Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Good practical organization skills, planning of resources, and program scheduling.
  • Be able to provide both summarized and detailed reports on current activities.
  • IT Literate able to use Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction contracts.
  • Smart and professional appearance.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Customer-focused and self-starter.
  • Communicator & motivator with the ability to communicate across all levels.
