Salary: R1 200 000 - R1 800 000 per annum

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. They will also identify and develop strategies to expand the company's client base and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development:
    • Identify potential new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector and develop targeted strategies to capitalize on these leads.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries to drive business growth.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage existing key accounts to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention rates.
    • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored renewable energy solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Possess a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and renewable energy technologies to provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new materials, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.
  • Energy Audits and Solutions:
    • Conduct thorough energy audits to assess the energy consumption and efficiency of buildings and facilities.
    • Design and propose innovative renewable energy solutions, including solar PV systems, wind energy systems, and battery storage systems.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
    • Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure all work complies with relevant South African legislation, including the Electrical Installation Regulations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Sales and Marketing:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed targets.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to potential clients.
  • Technical Support and Training:
    • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on renewable energy technologies and energy management strategies.
    • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance the skills of our team members and clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) is also essential. Additionally, they should have proven experience in business development or sales within the renewable energy industry, as well as experience in managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:
