Eligibility Specialist: Benefits Enrolment Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Eligibility Specialist to join our team at HR Studio Ltd. As an Eligibility Specialist, you will play a vital role in processing benefit entries and validating information. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all enrolments and changes comply with legal requirements and client specifications.
About the RoleKey responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing eligibility additions and terminations for new and renewing clients using electronic files, paper forms, and portals.
- Confirming that enrolments are activated promptly and that information is accurately and fully entered.
- Ensuring all necessary data for transfers to affiliated vendors is included.
- Providing feedback on eligibility processing during implementations and renewals to enhance processes, workflows, and products.
You will collaborate with providers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve billing or technical issues related to eligibility. Additionally, you will create and maintain system logins for Brokers and Clients, respond to client inquiries, and manage data transfers while adhering to department turnaround times and maintaining queue levels.

- Demonstrated ability to use a computer with expert-level keyboard and navigation skills.
- Able to quickly learn new software programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external customers.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
- An eye for detail and great time management skills.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve established goals.
You must have a strong knowledge of health insurance plans and employee benefits, as well as familiarity with benefit administration platforms such as Javelina. Proficiency in standard computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is also essential.
Salary and Working HoursThe estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. The working hours for this role are 2pm - 11pm.
