Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager of Specialized Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing diaries, and handling correspondence. They will also need to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. They will also possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel when required.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to senior management
  • Coordinate appointments and manage diaries
  • Handle all correspondence
  • Screen telephone calls and take messages
  • Minute-taking at meetings and engagements

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Administrative/secretarial post-school qualification
  • At least 3-5 years' experience as a personal assistant/administrator reporting to senior management
  • Advanced Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours as and when required
  • Clear criminal record and no pending cases
