Role Summary
  • As a Technical Sales Support Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team providing assistance to technical sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Administration: Assist the sales team with order processing, documentation, quotations, and sales reports.
  • Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and follow up on quotes and orders.
  • Technical Support: Assist in preparing technical proposals and learning key details about our product range to support the sales process.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system, tracking interactions and order history.
  • Team Coordination: Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth processing and fulfillment of orders.
  • Sales Reporting: Compile regular sales reports and assist in market research to help identify sales trends and opportunities.
Key Competencies
  • Experience: Previous experience in a technical or industrial environment is highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with technical products and able to quickly learn about our product range.
  • Customer-Focused: A proactive approach to customer service and problem-solving.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments.
Requirements
  • Any related qualification will be considered to your advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar sales support or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with the heavy equipment or manufacturing industry is essential.
