Senior Collections Coach

Old Mutual Finance is seeking a Senior Collections Coach to join their team. This role is responsible for managing and improving overall collections performance and book growth in a province.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide remote and face-to-face support to regional and branch network personnel.
- Provide training and coaching to Financial Consultants, Branch Guides, and Customer Relations Consultants.
- Focus on poor-performing branches and Financial Consultants, specifically Active Collections to Legal.
- Manage Debi Check Pre and Post Disbursement.
- Provide Provincial Managers and Area Managers with advice, guidance, systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate effective collections functions.
- Drive implementation of Book Retention and Growth strategies based on collections performance.
- Engage with Call Centre and Pay Date Management and Customer Solutions to provide intelligence around employers in the region.
- Assist with tracing clients that the Call Centre has not been able to contact.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and manage all current collections functions/processes for the region assigned.
- Provide support to Area Managers and Provincial Manager in the region with regards to arrears accounts follow-ups.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly collections reports, trend analysis, quality assessment, and audits per branch, area, and region.
- Provide collections performance and analysis of daily collections reports.
- Present monthly collections reporting in Provincial and Regional Meetings.
- Matric or equivalent NQF level 4 is required.
- 3-4 years of extensive experience in a collections environment.
- Ability to converse fluently in at least two official South African languages.
- Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word skills.
- Intermediate presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage daily, weekly, and monthly set targets consistently.
- Manage your portfolio on a day-to-day basis, ensuring due process is followed.
- Collect and collate pay date information received from the front end and deliver to the PDM team.
- Understanding of Debi Check.
- Fully skilled across all Old Mutual Finance products and processes would be advantageous.
- Must have own transport and ability to travel.
- Valid Driver's License - Code B.
