We are seeking a dynamic and energetic candidate to join our Rework department at Hesto Harnesses (Pty) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely receipt of priority shipment schedules from Ford
  • Maintain optimal manning levels according to manpower requirements
  • Monitor daily absenteeism and coordinate effective allocation of transition operators
  • Verify and sign stores requisitions before authorization by superior
  • Ensure subordinates adhere to established procedures and abide by the code of conduct and department rules
  • Follow up on defects and implement countermeasures to reduce defects
  • Conduct disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy
  • Audit employee files regularly
  • Perform weekly checks using layered audit check sheets
  • Ensure employees have necessary tools and PPE

Requirements:

  • Matric/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
  • NQF Level 6/ Diploma/ Degree in Operations/ Production Management or relevant M 3 qualifications (Essential)
  • NQF Level 5 in Leadership Development Programme (Advantageous)
  • 3-5 Years' experience in similar position/ Team Leader (Essential)
  • 4-5 Years' experience in Harness Manufacturing (Essential)
  • Ability to understand and practice ISO/TS16949 and IS014001 standards
