The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Production Manager for our Isando Coffee and Creamer site. The successful candidate will lead and support the production team in achieving high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing goals. Key responsibilities include:

• People Management: Implement systems to track and improve KPIs, lead and develop production shift leaders and team members, foster high employee engagement and morale, ensure labor usage is cost-effective, and recruit top talent for growth.

• Production Management: Oversee all production activities, including line start-ups, shut-downs, maintenance, and changeovers, ensure line performance meets targets for safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance, resolve issues with production flow and collaborate with support teams to maintain optimal efficiency.

• Material Usage & Cost Control: Conduct monthly material usage variance analysis to manage costs effectively, investigate discrepancies between actual and standard material usage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in leadership within a production environment (5 years), experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles, WCM, and TPM, strong knowledge of financial processes, supply chain, and holistic business views.

• Qualifications: Supervisory, Food Safety, or Production Management Certifications, Bachelor of Science in Industrial or Chemical Engineering preferred.
