Key Responsibilities:- Market Research and Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct market research and engage with stakeholders to understand the university-branded products environment.
- Product Development: Develop branded items and unique institutional offerings that meet the needs of the university community.
- Procurement and Stock Management: Efficiently manage procurement processes and stock to ensure the University Shop remains competitive and profitable.
- Retail Operations: Develop and manage efficient retail outlets (main shop and sites) and platforms to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Marketing and Communication: Manage the marketing and communication of the Shop and its products and services to ensure a strong brand presence.
- Human Resources, Finance, and General Management: Efficiently manage human resources, finance, and general management of the University Shop, outlets, and platforms.
- A three-year post-matric/tertiary qualification (M+3).
- A 3-5 years retail management experience involving all the relevant functional areas.
- A valid driver's license.
- Reliable own transport essential.
