We are the world's leading Cinema software supplier, and we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Digital team. As a Business Analyst, you will work on delivering exceptional digital transformation projects to cinema customers in a fast-paced environment, across multiple teams and time-zones.

We create and provide innovative products and solutions that are used worldwide by cinemas, studios, and the cinema going public. Our products transact the business of the movies, with over 20 billion dollars of tickets sold through Vista every year. But more than that, we are a group of good people who love doing good things. You will work with a talented and friendly Digital team in a great culture that delivers the best products to the cinema industry.

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced Business Analyst, with proven success in an Agile software development environment. You will work on integrations development, covering the full range of core business in the Cinema industry, and become adept at understanding the domain to a wide and deep level.

You will uncover intersections between Cinema, 3rd party, Moviegoer, and Vista requirements. After scoping, gap analysis, and functional design, you will collaborate with the development team to shepherd each project through to deployment in a live cinema near you.

Within integrations, our core areas of responsibility are Compliance & Fiscalisation, Payments, Data Import/Export & Reports, ERP, and APIs. Any prior exposure to these areas is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirements gathering and analysis.
  2. Producing functional specifications and designing solutions.
  3. Generating development artifacts and overseeing features to completion.
  4. Proactively identifying potential issues and challenges.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Personal Attributes:

  1. Confidence, positivity, self-motivation, creativity, and insatiable curiosity.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Technical background in an Agile software development SDLC, using process management tools.
  4. Strong understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to generate effective requirements.
  5. Experience working within Integrations is a plus.
  6. Ability to develop and maintain good professional working relationships with people at all levels.

Qualifications and experience:

  1. 4+ years relevant experience in the software industry as a Business Analyst.
  2. Professional Business Analyst qualifications.
  3. Fundamental understanding of concepts around technical systems and specification writing.
