Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at PUMA. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing store team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring a compelling and engaging store environment that drives sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage inventory levels, process sales, exchanges, and refunds, and maintain accurate records to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to achieve business objectives, share best practices, and provide feedback on store performance.
  • Ensure Loss Prevention and Operational compliance within the store, achieving or exceeding all Inventory and Shrink goals.
  • Participate in new store openings and/or store closings, and attend Store Manager Meetings and offsite training as required.
Requirements
  • National Senior Certificate
  • Three to four years of management experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear) with results-driven track record.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales while meeting payroll goals, demonstrated ability to identify, hire, train, develop, and retain top talent Managers as well as teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Leadership skills.
  • PC-skills, MS-Office Knowledge, Outlook, Internet.
