Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Group Reservations Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will play a pivotal role in managing group bookings, coordinating with internal departments, and driving revenue optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling group booking inquiries, providing accurate and prompt responses.
  • Process group reservations, ensuring all necessary details such as rooming lists, meal plans, and special requests are correctly recorded.
  • Monitor group allocations, release periods, and ensure booking deadlines are met, collaborating with the revenue team to optimize revenue growth.
  • Liaise with tour operators, corporate clients, and event planners to confirm booking details and facilitate smooth group operations.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel reservations, hotel front office, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in hotel reservations systems, Opera preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
