Position Title: Imaging Equipment Sales Manager (JB4623)

Location: Fully remote for applicants currently residing in South Africa

Compensation: R30 000 per month

Contract Type: Independent Contractor

As an Imaging Equipment Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in our clients' efforts to deliver economical solutions to global healthcare institutions and medical facilities. Your role will involve a diverse array of tasks, including market expansion, equipment assessment, negotiation, logistics management, and analysis of market trends.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that the procured equipment is refurbished to meet quality benchmarks, facilitating its resale to potential buyers. This position is heavily centered on lead generation and encompasses the entire sales process.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in the medical equipment sector or a solid understanding of Imaging and Diagnostics equipment markets is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity will be beneficial.
  • A fully equipped remote office setup, including a personal laptop, phone, and internet connection, as well as backup for power outages, is essential.
  • Experience in sales or account management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and nurture relationships with global healthcare institutions and medical facilities that are approaching equipment upgrades.
  • Utilize your expertise in the Imaging and Diagnostics market to evaluate the fair market value of targeted equipment, considering factors such as brand, model, age, functionality, and maintenance history.
  • Lead negotiations to secure advantageous agreements for equipment purchases, employing strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Oversee the logistics of equipment acquisition, including disassembly (if required) and safe transportation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that acquired equipment undergoes necessary refurbishment to meet quality standards, while also identifying potential buyers and facilitating resale.
  • Stay updated on market trends related to refurbished imaging and diagnostics equipment, actively researching market conditions and emerging technologies to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations during all acquisitions, working closely with internal teams to navigate necessary requirements.
