Imaging Equipment Sales Specialist

Position Title: Imaging Equipment Sales Specialist (JB4623)
Work Arrangement: Fully remote for applicants currently residing in South Africa
Compensation: R30 000 per month
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
As an Imaging Equipment Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in advancing our clients' objectives to deliver cost-efficient solutions to global healthcare institutions and medical facilities. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Market Development: Identify and nurture relationships with international healthcare providers and medical facilities that are considering equipment upgrades.
- Equipment Evaluation: Utilize your expertise in the Imaging and Diagnostics sector to determine the fair market value of targeted equipment, taking into account aspects such as brand, model, age, functionality, and maintenance history.
- Negotiation: Lead discussions to secure advantageous agreements for the acquisition of equipment, employing strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve beneficial outcomes.
- Logistics Coordination: Ensure smooth equipment acquisition by managing logistics, disassembly (if required), and safe transportation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to guarantee that acquired equipment undergoes necessary refurbishment to meet quality standards, while also identifying potential buyers for resale.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on trends in the refurbished imaging and diagnostics equipment market, actively researching conditions and emerging technologies to refine strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all acquisitions comply with relevant regulations, collaborating with internal teams to navigate necessary requirements.
Important Notes:
Full remote office setup, including backup for loadshedding, is essential for this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical equipment sector or a solid understanding of Imaging and Diagnostics equipment markets is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Possession of a remote office setup, including a personal laptop, phone, and internet connection, along with loadshedding backup, is non-negotiable.
- Experience in sales or account management is highly beneficial.
