Job Title: Branch Manager

As a Branch Manager at KMCK Talent Sourcing, you will be responsible for the overall management of a retail branch, ensuring its effective and efficient operation, and driving profitability and staff development through effective leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve set monthly targets and maintain gross profit at required levels.
  • Plan and implement effective promotions, and ensure a prospect system is in place and utilized daily.
  • Conduct knowledge training on an ongoing basis, and ensure effective prospecting by all sales consultants.
  • Communicate the store's performance to all staff regularly, and canvass suggestions for corrective action plans.
  • Conduct regular meetings to maintain focus on key result areas, and ensure training and development of staff in line with a fixed training and development plan.
  • Maintain harmonious relationships between employer and employees, and deal with grievances timeously and in accordance with company policy.
  • Apply discipline for misconduct timeously and in accordance with company policy, and ensure the correct recruitment and selection of store personnel in respect of company policy.
  • Maintain productivity levels of all staff in store, and ensure performance appraisals for all staff are conducted in line with company policy.
  • Ensure working conditions are in line with company policy, and ensure all documentation is dealt with in terms of company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure the correct management of company assets, and rectify any adverse audit comments immediately.
  • Proactively ensure that the company's advertising drives are implemented effectively, and ensure a complete knowledge of available products in terms of benefits, lead times, suppliers, prices, range, contact people, and terms of sale.
  • Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping throughout all areas of the branch, and be fully aware of the areas from which your store does business.
  • Ensure all credit related memos are adhered to at all times, and that relevant staff is informed of the content thereof.
  • Be accountable for the overall management of debtors book, and ensure strict adherence to store opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure all security systems are effectively maintained and checked regularly, and oversee the planning of delivery of merchandise.
  • Ensure correct security procedures are adhered to at all times regarding merchandise, and maintain stock holdings at budgeted levels.
  • Ensure branch stock counts are conducted as per company policy and on correct dates, and ensure all staff within the branch are aware of the vision, core values, and core purpose.
  • Monitor after delivery follow-up calls, and ensure all staff are fully trained and able to offer excellent customer service and product knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Retail Diploma or a degree in Sales and Marketing an advantage
  • Pref. 5 years Industry related experience, Of which at least 2 years middle Management experience
