We are a leading provider of software solutions for the retail and hospitality industries, seeking a highly skilled Channel Sales Manager to join our team in Africa.

Job Summary

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales activities and growing the business in Africa. This role will involve creating and executing a demand generation strategy for the retail industry, managing direct sales processes, and developing close relationships with key target customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Activities and Grow the Business
  • Create and Execute a Demand Generation Strategy
  • Manage Direct Sales Processes
  • Develop Close Relationships with Key Target Customers
  • Interact with Other Departments
  • Meet and Exceed Revenue and Profit Targets
  • Develop a Partner Network Strategy
  • Assess and Validate Channel Partner Needs
  • Provide Technical and Commercial Support
  • Implement the Regional Commercial and Marketing Plan
  • Work with Regional Head and Executive Management Team
  • Provide Feedback and Market Intelligence
  • Manage Weekly Forecasting Routines
  • Populate and Update Salesforce CRM
  • Work with Marketing and Product Management
  • Build Rapport and Robust Relationships
  • Maintain and Expand Company Channel Partner Network
Requirements
  • 15+ Years of Corporate Sales Experience
  • Experience in Selling Retail Software
  • Fluent in English
  • Substantial Experience in Sales
  • Experience in Partner and Channel Management
  • Experience Selling Enterprise Software
  • Degree Qualified or Professional Qualification
  • Ability to Manage the Life-Cycle of Direct or Channel Engagements
  • Residence and Availability to Work in Kenya/South Africa
  • Availability to Travel

Compensation

Basic R1,000,000 // $60,000 per annum

Variable/Comm: R450,000 //$25,000 per annum
