Sales Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Consultant to join our team in Boksburg. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth shop operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly Over-The-Counter (OTC) revenue and order targets.
- Conduct telephone marketing and sales with a minimum of 50 calls per day.
- Attract a minimum of 20 customers to the shop daily.
- Generate and manage sales leads, driving new and reactivated business.
- Provide aftersales support and assist customers via email and phone.
- Process orders, handle goods returned for credit, and support payment collections.
- Manage inventory, including stock orders, delivery follow-ups, and shop display updates.
- Perform visual merchandising and optimize the shopping experience.
- Maintain accurate stock records, conduct stock takes, and manage surplus/slow-moving items.
- Oversee general shop maintenance, analyze sales reports, and coordinate Customer Days.
- Handle customer complaints and perform additional ad-hoc duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Reside within 15 km of Boksburg.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (additional South African languages are advantageous).
- Sales-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated with a high level of commitment.
- Proficient in computer applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel); SAP experience is a plus.
- Quick learner with a strong sense of responsibility and product knowledge relevant to the industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transport, clear disciplinary, criminal, and credit records.
