Xylem, a leading water technology company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our analytics solutions business in East/Southern Africa.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the water industry and analytics products/solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth for the analytics segment (Laboratory/Process/Environmental), expanding market share, and developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for analytics business products and services.
  2. New Business Opportunities: Identify and prospect new business opportunities within key industries (Wastewater/Drinking Water/Oil & Gas/Power/F&B).
  3. Consultative Sales: Drive consultative sales, understanding customer pain points and aligning solutions accordingly.
  4. Presentation & Demonstration: Present and demonstrate analytics solutions in the field.
  5. Negotiation & Contract Discussion: Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies to close deals.
  6. Distributor Management: Act as a trusted advisor, helping distributors develop and grow the business, support, assess and drive distributors/channels performance.
  7. Customer Success: Ensure customer success and satisfaction by working closely with delivery and support teams.
  8. Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in analytics.
  9. Go-to-Market Strategy: Work with product and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies based on customer feedback.
