Job Title: German Travel Concierge

At ABC Worldwide, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced German Travel Concierge to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our international clientele, ensuring seamless travel experiences, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, providing expert advice on tailor-made holidays and safaris in Africa.
  • Book and manage hotel, lodge, and logistical reservations, ensuring consultant requirements are met.
  • Coordinate travel request distribution to agents, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Support sales consultants with administrative duties, including data entry, reporting, and communication.
  • Oversee all aspects of post-booking confirmation, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Warm up client inquiries, handing them over to senior consultants for further processing.
  • Provide sales quotes as the first point of contact, supporting senior sales consultants in driving business growth.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to resolve client travel issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Perform customer service-related responsibilities, including responding to client inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Work with external suppliers to resolve booking-related issues, ensuring seamless travel experiences.
  • Collaborate with the rates team to resolve rates-related tasks, communicating with consultants and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Log all required tickets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Meet tight turnaround times, ensuring sales consultant requests are actioned within 24 hours.
  • Update the Concierge dashboard, providing regular reporting to sales managers.
Requirements:
  • National Senior Certificate/Matric or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a Concierge or Sales Administrative Assistant role.
  • Fluent in speaking and writing in the German language.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Degree/Diploma in Tourism or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across the organization.
