Job Overview:

The purpose of this role is to effectively handle and settle claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately reserve claims and review insurance policies to determine coverage
* Contact insured clients to obtain required information and provide excellent customer service
* Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
* Negotiate contentious claims and resolve issues in a professional manner

Requirements:

* Clear credit and criminal record
* Grade 12 certificate or equivalent Level 4 qualification issued by SAQA
* Relevant FAIS Credits and RE5 (compulsory)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Short-Term Insurance Claims: Personal Lines and Commercial Lines
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
