HR Payroll Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in Pretoria West. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the Payroll function, generating accurate and timely monthly payrolls, and working closely with HR and other departments to improve payroll processes and provide analysis of corporate payroll-related statistics.
Main Duties:
- Payroll administration and process improvement
- Reviewing and processing payroll information for accuracy and completeness
- Calculation and accounting of payroll components
- Actioning and filing payroll-related correspondence
- End-to-end payroll processing management
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll matters
- Interpreting payroll-related awards and agreements
- Calculating and processing termination and increase payments
- Responsible for payroll reporting and reconciliation
- Payslip production and distribution
- POPIA compliance
- Tax directive management
- IRP5/IT3(A) certificate control
- Business requirements reporting
Requirements:
- Accounting degree or diploma
- Minimum 3 years payroll experience
- Experience with large payroll systems
- SAP experience beneficial
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and laws
