At West Coast Personnel, we are seeking a skilled Human Resources Administrator to provide effective HR administrative support to our HR Manager. This generalist role is essential for managing the employee life cycle, from attracting and selecting top candidates to administering training and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and selecting top talent to join our dynamic team.
  • Onboarding and inducting new employees to ensure a smooth transition and high level of job satisfaction.
  • Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Managing remuneration and benefits processes to ensure fairness and compliance.
  • Overseeing risk and compliance management, including annual reporting and audits to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Participating in various HR projects to enhance our HR practices and contribute to the growth and success of West Coast Personnel.
  • Liaising with external partners to ensure effective HR operations and maintain a positive reputation.
  • Performing general HR-related administrative duties as needed to support the HR Manager and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in HR or a related field is essential for this role.
  • 3-5 years of HR administration experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with HR software, particularly SAGE 300 People System, is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of South African labour laws and regulations, with experience working with unions or bargaining councils a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize projects effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex HR concepts to non-HR stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Professional registration with SABPP as an HR Associate or HR Professional is highly beneficial.
