Sales Territory Development Manager
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Sales Territory Development Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our sales division, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for articulated dump trucks and wheel excavators.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the division
- Network with existing and potential customers and business partners to identify new sales opportunities
- Facilitate the sale and rental of equipment, specializing in the sale of ADTs and WEX, to meet targets
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in heavy machinery or related industries
- Strong understanding of articulated dump trucks and wheeled excavators, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the sales territory
The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with frequent travel within the sales territory and regional markets.
Compensation:The estimated salary for this position is R850,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
