Kontak Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to lead our team of in-store promoters in the high-end beauty products industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales targets, recruiting and training team members, and ensuring optimal store coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and Train Team Members: Source, hire, and provide comprehensive training to in-store promoters to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet sales targets.
- Strategic Team Deployment: Allocate promoters to various stores to ensure optimal coverage and performance, and make adjustments as needed to meet sales goals.
- Drive Sales Targets: Encourage and lead the team to consistently achieve and surpass daily sales goals, and provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance.
- Monitor and Enhance Performance: Establish a high-performance culture with a continuous focus on sales achievements, and identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive results.
- Manage Sales Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of sales reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement, and provide insights to the sales team to inform their strategies.
- Travel Between Locations: Regularly visit different sites to supervise operations and ensure smooth execution of sales strategies, and provide feedback to team members on their performance.
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years experience in direct sales and team management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive a large team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment
- Must own a car for travel between store locations
- Previous experience in the high-end beauty products industry
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work outside of normal operating hours
