Financial Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager for our client, a leading company in East London, to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance and Accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial operations in a Construction and Manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and will be SAIPA, SAICA, or other relevant professional certified. They will have at least 10 years of experience in Financial Management, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting, and at least 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a Construction and Manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements, and excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills. They will have a proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning, and experience in risk management and financial instruments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: The Financial Manager will be responsible for the financial reporting of Monthly Management Accounts, and will prepare Annual Financial Statements.
- Overseeing Audits: The Financial Manager will oversee audits, and will review debtors, creditors and stock.
- Inventory Management: The Financial Manager will oversee monthly inventory stock counts, and will compile import orders.
- Financial Reporting to Senior Management: The Financial Manager will prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
