Job Overview

The Food & Beverage Supervisor role at The Capital Hotels, Apartments & Resorts presents an exciting opportunity to take charge of the daily operations for the Restaurant, Bar/s, Room Service, Conferencing and Functions.

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the front of house team. As second-in-charge to the F&B Manager, you will take on additional responsibilities in their absence, including running the F&B operations smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities for the Restaurant, Bar/s, Room Service, Conferencing and Functions.
  • Take charge and run F&B operations in the absence of the F&B Manager.
  • Lead by example, demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Requirements
  • Matric qualification.
  • Hospitality qualification or similar.
  • Hands-on problem-solving approach and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
  • Friendly, courteous and service-oriented individual who can work as part of a team and independently.
  • Effective communication with staff and guests, honesty, trustworthiness, attention to detail, presentable appearance and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
