About the Role

The Head of Retail Insights is responsible for leading the development and implementation of data-driven retail strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of retail operations, and expertise in data analytics.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Implement Retail Strategies: Creates and executes data-driven retail strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Analyze and Interpret Data: Analyzes and interprets large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform retail decisions.
  3. Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement retail initiatives.
  4. Maintain Strong Relationships: Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, suppliers, and customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Honours Degree: Financial Maths/Stats/Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics (Essential)
  • Master's degree or MBA (Preferred)
  • Good progress with actuarial exams (Advantageous but not essential)
  • 3 Years of Data Science experience; experience in developing machine learning models and algorithms
  • 7-10 Years Retail analytics experience, focus on retail analytics
  • 3 years experience in developing actuarial models for business and client use
