About the Role

The Sales Development Representative will play a critical role in generating interest in our product offering with companies that result in live and phone-based meetings for our Business Development Managers. This will be achieved through a combination of inbound and outbound efforts, targeted account outreach based on industry insights, thorough prospect communication, and personalized messaging.

This role requires persistence, creative problem-solving, and a proactive approach to B2B selling. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable managing a high volume of leads at any given time and have sound judgment under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and qualify marketing-generated leads
  • Plan and execute prospecting activities using outreach tools, Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospects' needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sellers
  • Record all activity and maintain database accuracy
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-4 year marketing or sales-related qualification preferred
  • 1-2 years sales development or account management experience in a B2B environment, preferably in SAAS technologies, IT, or online education
  • Ability to multitask, manage projects, and work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Basic data analysis skills
