Job Title: Technical Skills Trainer

As a key member of the HCM team at Isilumko Staffing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing human capital strategies that align with our organization's business objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing talent management strategies, overseeing skills development budgets, ensuring compliance with training policies, and managing the Oracle Learning Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our overall HC strategy, ensuring it is aligned with business needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement talent management strategies, including career paths and succession planning.
  • Develop and manage skills development budgets for all regions, ensuring effective utilization of financial resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with training and development policies, maintaining a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Oversee the Oracle Learning Management System, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization.
  • Establish and implement a quality management system for skills development practices, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Design and develop learning materials for training events and e-learning purposes, catering to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Coordinate awareness campaigns and promotional activities to promote laboratory careers and bursaries, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Provide ongoing skills development for all staff, aligning with regional and national plans to drive business success.
  • Design, implement, and monitor leadership interventions for senior managers, middle managers, and supervisors, enhancing leadership capabilities and organizational performance.
  • Administer training interventions and maintain records of training programs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Update our organization's Training Needs Analysis (TNA) annually, identifying areas for improvement and driving strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate workplace skills plan (WSP) and annual training needs (ATR) to ensure compliance and optimize business outcomes.

Minimum Requirements & Key Competencies:

  • 3-year Diploma in Human Resources/Training or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in human capital management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, training methodologies, and talent management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
