Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting on inspections of mineral commodities, in accordance with instructions received from the Commodity Coordinator. This includes maintaining quality, efficiency, and confidentiality of service, liaising with the Commodity Coordinator, and continuously upgrading the quality of services offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and commodity movements.
- Liaise with the Commodity Coordinator to ensure compliance with instructions and quality standards.
- Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of commodity inspections.
- Communicate with other branches and divisions to achieve required turnaround times for submitted samples.
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist the Commodity Coordinator in coordinating inspections and commodity movements.
- Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of trade-related experience or similar.
- Proficiency in English (read, speak, write).
- Typing skills.
Competencies:
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Calculation capability to ensure accurate scoring of client results.
