Job Description

**Job Title:** Operations Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Prostaff Holdings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all operational and production aspects of our liquid inks manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all operational and production aspects to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Direct and drive staff to ensure production efficiencies, quality, and quantity specifications are met.
  • Manage and oversee production scheduling and planning to run a safe and efficient production area.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and practices to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Oversee raw material requirements for production.
  • Ensure that production and technical managers produce finished product and packaging of the highest order.
  • Drive all operational functions to ensure business growth through streamlined processes.
  • Improve brand recognition in the market and create a cost-effective, efficient, and reliable operational process that meets worldwide standards.
  • Oversee and drive maintaining best production and manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure that systems comply with legislative requirements and staff adhere to safety regulations.
  • Identify and remove risks.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in production, technical, or chemical-related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a production or operational management role within the liquid inks industry.
  • Solvent-based liquid inks experience.
  • Experience working in a highly inflammable environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work to a deadline.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Familiarity with all raw materials used in the manufacturing of liquid inks.
  • Ability to implement processes and procedures.
  • Extensive understanding of On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) manufacturing.
  • Supply chain experience.
  • Conversant with sales and operational planning processes.
  • Previous experience handling a unionized workforce.
