Estimated Salary: R 800,000 per annum

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, assist, and implement the ordering, planting, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, ground covers, and turf grasses across various properties.
  • Grow potted plants and maintain a nursery tailored for different properties, ensuring optimal health and growth.
  • Identify and manage indigenous plant species to promote biodiversity and maintain ecosystem balance.
  • Liaise with property owners and managers to understand project scopes, ensuring excellence in execution.
  • Take full ownership of horticultural projects from inception to completion, demonstrating an excellent track record of successful delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in horticulture, botany, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in horticulture with a thorough knowledge of plant propagation, culturation, and nursery management principles.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in managing and supervising a gardens and grounds team effectively.
