About the Role

Pillango Placements is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, assessing client-specific needs, promoting and selling logistic services, and maintaining sales goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales and Marketing: Promote and sell logistic services to new and existing clients, developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Sales Goal Management: Maintain sales goals and objectives, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
Requirements
  • Senior Certificate: A Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Relevant Qualification: A relevant sales, marketing, or logistics qualification will be an advantage.
  • Work-Related Experience: 2-3 years of work-related experience in sales, marketing, or logistics is required.
  • Business Development Experience: Business development experience in the logistics industry will be an advantage.
  • Driver's License: A Code B driver's license and own transport are required.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to clients nationally is essential.
  • Availability: Willingness to work overtime and be available after business hours and during weekends is required.
  • Freight Forwarding and Customs Compliance: Knowledge of freight forwarding and customs compliance will be an advantage.

  • Meet Sales Targets: Meet sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Freight Supply Chain Management: Assume responsibility for every aspect of the freight supply chain, ensuring correct and on-time collection and delivery of products.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical advice on the application of products and services.
  • Specialty Products/Services: In-depth knowledge of specialty products and services and their application.
