Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager/Service Advisor to join our team at CARtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the service center's scheduling and workflow, and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and direct vehicles to an available technician
- Consult with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs
- Answer customer questions about service outcomes and consult with technicians when necessary
- Inform customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections
- Assist customers with quotations and bookings
- Oversee and manage the service center's scheduling and workflow
- Inform customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
- Manage mechanics, fitters, and cleaners
- Control and monitor productivity workshop technician
- Ensure that parts arrive on time
- Ensure that the technician complies with their Check List
- Ensure that all staff complete their daily Productivity Report
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely
Requirements:

- Computer skills
- Must be bilingual, English / Afrikaans
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:30, Saturday, 07:30-13:00
Salary: Competitive salary + commissions based on work experience
