Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Sales Technician to join our Service Sales Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to our customers, while also identifying opportunities to grow our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide field service and sales support to our customers, including on-site problem solving and installation of vacuum pumps and systems.
- Liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner, via verbal communication and email.
- Identify new prospects and cold call potential customers to maintain and grow relationships.
- Set and chase ambitious sales targets, generate new pump sales, and grow field service.
- Develop and implement strategies with the sales team to achieve business growth.
- Complete required reports on time, including weekly and monthly summaries.
Requirements:
- Technical qualifications: Electrical or Millwright trade.
- Experience in end-user repairs and/or technical selling of vacuum pumps, water pumps, compressors, valves, or other Industrial equipment selling to industrial markets.
- Good technical skills, hands-on experience, and excellent communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure, multitask successfully, and meet deadlines.
- First Language Afrikaans is preferable, but not necessary.
