Resort Sales Director

Dream Hotels and Resorts is seeking a seasoned Resort Sales Director to spearhead the growth of our timeshare sales operations across South Africa. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive sales targets and expand our market presence.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the hospitality or timeshare industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales operation, including sales strategy, team management, customer relations, sales operations management, marketing and promotion, market analysis, financial management, compliance and ethics, training and development, and innovation and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement Ownership sales strategies to achieve sales targets country-wide* Drive opportunities that bring valuable & exciting sales campaigns and promotions across the various provincial teams* Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives* Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for the sales team* Set sales goals and monitor team performance to ensure targets are met* Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers* Conduct presentations and tours of timeshare properties to prospective buyers* Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints to ensure satisfaction* Oversee the entire sales operation for time share, and ownership sales across SA* Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to timeshare sales* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns* Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote timeshare properties* Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential opportunities* Analyse sales data and reports to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as needed* Prepare sales forecasts and budgets* Monitor sales expenses and ensure they are within budget* Report on sales performance to senior management
