Sales Executive for Hydraulics Solutions

Company Overview: TrudyQ Consulting is a leading entity in the Hydraulics sector, specializing in the design, manufacturing, installation, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated External Sales Representative to enhance our Sales Team in Cape Town.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric/NQF Level 4)
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
- Strong technical knowledge
- Proficient in computer applications
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Hydraulics sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients within the designated territory to drive new business opportunities.
- Conduct outreach through phone calls and face-to-face meetings with current and prospective clients.
- Utilize a relationship-focused approach to promote and secure orders from clients.
- Showcase products to clients, assisting them in selecting options that meet their specific needs.
- Coordinate and follow up on sales inquiries with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Management, and Workshop.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly.
- Create a structured call schedule to effectively cover the assigned territory and provide daily updates on call outcomes.
- Deliver oral and written reports to management regarding customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive landscape, and opportunities for new products and services.
- Stay informed about new products, technological advancements, market trends, and evolving customer preferences.
- Conduct analyses on customer performance, market conditions, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to enhance the company's market position.
- Participate in industry trade shows and conventions.
- Handle customer inquiries and prepare detailed quotes, whether via phone or in writing.
- Communicate pricing, discounts, credit terms, and conditions in line with company policies.
- Provide accurate information on the availability of products.
- Facilitate order processing by preparing Sales Orders.
- Boost sales and average order value through cross-selling, upselling, and promotional offerings.
- Educate clients on product specifications, part numbers, features, and benefits to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Remain current on new products and customer preferences by attending internal meetings and training sessions.
- Generate reports and plan client visits effectively.
