About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional lawyer with 4-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our Finance and Projects team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure and energy law, with expertise in project development transactions, public sector regulatory frameworks, and energy regulatory law.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing transactions, developing client relationships, contributing to business development plans, and supporting junior team members. They will also have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and cross-border transactions on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage transactions from a commercial and finance perspective;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • Contribute to business development plans and pitch for new opportunities;
  • Supervise associates and junior lawyers in the team;
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years of PQE in infrastructure and energy law;
  • Strong technical legal skills and excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Experience of project development transactions and public sector regulatory frameworks;
  • Knowledge of energy regulatory law and experience of acting in a leading role in key transactions.
