  • Prepare and maintain accurate product sample documentation for manufacturing and costings purposes.
  • Ensure product sample documents and Green Seal documents are filed on completion in line with ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure quality meets the standard of all outsourced sampling.
  • Approve samples on the manufacturing line prior to production.
  • Assist receiving in resolving quality concerns with outsourced suppliers.
  • Arrange logistics for sample receipt and dispatch.
  • Research and source raw materials from local or international suppliers for sampling and production.
  • Source production applications required for product completion.
  • Courier samples to international suppliers for raw material sourcing.
  • Communicate and arrange with procurement for raw materials required for samples.
  • Coordinate sampling production with the factory and oversee the process.
  • Verify and submit accurate costing information.
  • Maintain up-to-date costing records and verify pricing accuracy.
  • Update forecasts by adding new products and raw materials or amending existing ones.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience overseeing product sampling.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Sound understanding of product costings.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Strong Excel knowledge.
Additional Information:

Salary: R12k - R15k.
