Job Responsibilities

Client Engagement

  • Develop strong relationships with clients by providing tailored solutions to their financial needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance on investment and wealth management strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure clients receive the best possible advice.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive financial solutions that meet client goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and increase business through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Ensure a positive client experience by addressing any issues promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure all sales activities are completed to plan, with progress reviewed and corrective action taken.

Risk and Compliance

Mitigating Risks

  • Mitigate risks and meet legislative requirements by being accredited and updating client information.
  • Report suspicious transactions to the relevant department.
  • Stay informed about legislation and industry changes that impact the role.
  • Manage risk by meeting technical standards, practices, and resource management.
  • Be a responsible employee by being compliant to policies, controls, regulations, and banking legislation.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance or Economics
Experience

Minimum Experience

  • 2-3 years working experience as a Client Services Consultant within the Asset Management industry.
  • Experience with Investments/Pension Funds/Retirement Fund in an Asset Management Business.
  • Sound technical understanding of Collective Investment Schemes and Retirement products.
