Key Responsibilities:

  • To proactively seek and establish new banking relationships with clients to meet the monthly revenue targets.
  • To educate and promote Bidvest Bank's full product offering to clients to maximize revenue generation.

Portfolio Management:

  • To monitor, track and report on sales activity to ensure action is taken to meet sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals to other product lines by developing a good understanding of client needs.

Client Service:

  • To correctly anticipate and interpret client business requirements to secure their banking business with Bidvest Bank.
  • To provide relevant timeous solutions to clients by researching their business in relation to the current economic climate and educating them on Bidvest's products.

Risk Management:

  • To comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
  • To understand client risk profiles and balances by optimizing product mix.

Training and Development:

  • To manage own development to increase own competencies.
  • To ensure all relevant product training is completed to equip for cross-selling opportunities.

Personal Qualities:

  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Business Acumen.
  • Attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Matric.
  • BCom - Banking, Finance, Commercial (Ideal).

Experience:

  • Previous sales experience, with exposure to financial services.
  • At least three years + of sales experience in a business banking and/or financial services industry (ideal).
