About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at Optential Consulting.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role will be to drive sales growth and develop business relationships with existing and new clients. This involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

To achieve this, you will need to have a deep understanding of the industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and pursue them through effective marketing and sales techniques
  • Maintain accurate records of sales interactions and outcomes
  • Provide regular sales reports and insights to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or business development
  • Strong knowledge of the FMCG industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of R 80,000 per annum, plus commission-based incentives that can increase earnings by up to R 20,000 per month.
