Administrative Support Specialist

Our organization is a reputable medical company based in East London, Eastern Cape. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Receptionist to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients warmly and checking them in upon arrival. They will also answer phone calls and schedule appointments, providing information about services, procedures, and clinic policies as needed. Additionally, they will handle patient inquiries and resolve issues or escalate them as necessary, while maintaining accurate patient records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues. Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Friendly demeanor and patience to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally. Comfort with using medical software for scheduling, billing, and electronic health records (EHR). Basic knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but can be learned on the job.
